In 2024, Gale was chosen by the Fort Collins
Art in Public Places program to paint a
transformer cabinet mural with students at
Kinard Core Knowledge Middle School.

Gale's concept sketches for the students to vote on. The bee + flower (pollinator) concept was most popular, followed by the mountains + river concept. We decided to combine the two concepts into one design

Gale collected many (free!) paints from the Larimer County Drop 'n' Swap. Kinard Middle School had many useful colors as well.
