In July 2025 I completed my three-wall Colorado landscape + wildlife mural, titled "Flourishing Together," at the Northside Aztlan Community Center in Fort Collins, Colorado.

In 2024 I was commissioned through the Fort Collins Art in Public Places program to paint a mural in the Northside Aztlan Community Center (NACC). After the center's lobby was renovated, the preschool/camp entrance needed more color and fun! I brainstormed themes with a small team of city managers, sketched early concepts and developed a final plan. The result was a 3-wall mural of the Colorado outdoors, with many Colorado animals -- in their typical habitats -- scattered throughout the landscape.

I began painting my design onto panels in my studio. Those six panels were photographed and sent to Signarama to be printed onto window vinyl. I then moved on to the actual walls at the NACC in April 2025. I completed the mural in July 2025 and titled the work "Flourishing Together".

The panels I painted for the window vinyl prints are included in the "Personal Artwork of Public Artists" exhibit August 29 - October 17, 2025 at the Lincoln Center Gallery, 417 W. Magnolia Street in Fort Collins, Colorado. There is an Artist Reception on Friday, October 10, 5:30-7:30pm. You're invited!

Here is my album of progress photos! Click the side arrows and you'll be able to see the mural come to life, one step at a time. :) Enjoy!
